Spring Training Stats are pretty hard to find around the web these days. Continue checking back here at Legion Report for updated Spring Training Stats on notable Players and Prospects this Spring Training.

Javier Baez – Cubs Top Prospect and Shortstop, Javier Baez, has 6 hits in 18 at-bats, including 2 HR’s. He’s expected to hit The Bigs sometime this 2014 season.

Kris Bryant – Chicago Cubs, other Top Prospect, Kris Bryant, has 2 hits, both of which are HR’s for 4 RBI’s as well as 6 strikeouts in his 9 At-Bats. Bryant should also hit the majors this season.

Francisco Lindor – Cleveland Indians Top Prospect has hit a HR on 3 hits in 12 At-Bats this Spring. He’s struck out 3 times and has continued to hit the ball hard. You read can what Terry Francona had to say on his ETA to The Bigs in our recent article, when Francona visited Tozzi’s on 12th Restaurant in Canton Ohio.

Michael Brantley – Brantley, a Legion Report sleeper this season, has been red hot this Spring smacking 9 hits in 15 At-Bats for a .600 average.

Byron Buxton – The Top MiLB Prospect is off to a rough start as he only has 1 HR on 3 hits in his 19 At-Bats. Buxton will be fine, as he has only struck out 1 time so far this Spring. There’s chance Buxton can hit the majors the end of the 2014 season, depending how manages the Minors.

Peter Bourjos – Last years “Big Sleeper” turned to bust, but this season he’s doing all he can to keep Top Prospect, Oscar Taveras, away. So far this Spring, Bourjos is hitting .444 on 9 At-Bats with only one strike out.

Carlos Correa – Houston Astros Top Prospect and Shortstop 2 hits in 15 At-Bats as well as 6 strike outs. The 19 year old isn’t expected to hit the MLB until 2016.

Jameson Taillon – The Pirates SP has only managed 2.2 innings of work so far this Spring. He’s given un 1 Earned Run on 4 hits, 1 walk and zero K’s. He’ll hit the major later this 2014 season.
