Dorser The Enforcer Season Record 22-33 (66%)
WEEK 6 PREDICTIONS
TENNESSEE -2.5 FLORIDA
The Vols have a healthy team with a hunger that hasn’t been in Knoxville in years. Coach Butch Jones and the Vols are coming off a heartbreaking loss to Georgia. Vols have a great defense and consistent quarterback play from Justin Worley. Florida has no quarterback play from Driskel and the defense got scorched for well over 500 yards last week. This game should be steadily dominated by the Tennessee defense and run game behind freshman Jalen Hurd.
Prediction: Tennessee ATS.
TEXAS A&M +2.5 MISS. STATE
Alright, have we forgotten who Texas A&M is as a team? I understand that Mississippi State went into LSU and won, but honestly a tough game with a stingy Arkansas team and A&M goes to an underdog?!?! I am going to take Kenny Hill and Kevin Sumlin against Dak Prescott and Dan Mullen all day with points! This hype for Mississippi State happens every year until they get blown out mid-season and we never talk about them again. LSU is overrated and has no quarterback play compared to Texas A&M, watch for Kenny Hill to take the Heisman front runner with this blowout game!
Prediction: Texas A&M with the points.
NOTRE DAME +2.5 STANFORD
Everett Golson and Chip Kelly have this team and offense rolling. There are times they look mediocre, but I believe this game is going to show the improvements that Golson has made as a Quarterback. Stanford has a young offensive line and Quarterback Kevin Hogan has been really inconsistent this year. This home team getting points is something that you cannot pass on. I believe Golson, like Kenny Hill, can make a statement for the Heisman since Mariota lost on Thursday.
Prediction: Notre Dame with the points.
ALABAMA -4.5 OLE MISS.
In this game it is going to come down to quarterback play and coaching. We all understand the defense that Ole Miss has and what they are capable of, but they are not capable of beating this Alabama team. Blake Sims and Lane Kiffin are rolling through the competition and getting better every week. Alabama has Amari Cooper who will put up big numbers in this game. Ole Miss might have the worst quarterback in the SEC, Bo Wallace, who is absolutely miserable. Last week Memphis showed signs of domination and Ole Miss had to use the ground game in order to control the game.
Prediction: Alabama ATS.
WEST VIRGINIA -27.5 KANSAS
There is a lot going on in Kansas with the firing of Coach Charlie Weis. West Virginia offense is in full effect and continue to put up over 550 TYG. Clint Trickett has a QBR of 82.5 just behind Bryce Petty of Baylor in the conference, he will completely demolish this defense come Saturday at home. West Virginia has played elite competition all season and when Kansas has played elite competition they have scored 3 points.
Prediction: West Virginia ATS.
MIAMI FLORIDA +1.5 GEORGIA TECH
Miami is a solid team that has played stiff competition over the last two weeks. True freshman Brad Kaaya went into Nebraska and played a solid game for them. He played against Duke last week who has a tough defense and won. He is going to come into Atlanta and shine against this mediocre defense that Georgia Tech has. Miami is fast and athletic and they will find a way to shut down this option offense and force turnovers through the air. As a road underdog of 3 points of less, Miami is 6-1.
Prediction: Miami Florida with the points.
EAST CAROLINA -41 SMU
Okay we have one team that has covered every line this year and another that has yet to cover a line. In four games SMU has scored a total of 12 points and given up 202 points. They are traveling to East Carolina that put up 70 points two weeks ago against North Carolina. East Carolina could possibly put up another 70 points this week coming off a bye.
Prediction: East Carolina ATS.
AUBURN -7.5 LSU
True Freshman Brandon Harris is going to be starting this game against the War Eagle and that is exactly what I wanted to hear for Auburn. The crowd is going to be ecstatic and so loud that Harris is going to crumble under pressure. Gus Malzahn will get to prove to the critics that say “John Chavous knows how to stop Gus Malzahn.” Nick Marshall will have a big game and so will the War Eagle in this bout – it will start out close, but break away late in the game once the LSU defense is tired and cannot stay on the field much longer.
Prediction: Auburn ATS.
