Andrew Bynum – The Cavs are opening their phone lines for center Andrew Bynum. He has been suspended indefinitely by the team for conduct detrimental. The team can avoid paying him for the rest of the season if they trade him before January 7th. His contract only included $6 million guaranteed. The Hawks and Nets could be one of the teams that start calling. Varejao will remain the starter at Center and Tyler Zeller will see an increase in playing time. Until traded, Bynum offers no fantasy relevance.
Al Horford – Speaking of the Hawks, they suffered a tough loss in Al Horford. He tore his right pectoral muscle and is expected to be out for the remainder of the season. There have been rumors of the Hawks going with Elton Brand, but I’m not sure his old knees can keep up for the whole season. They don’t exactly have the trade pieces to acquire a big time talent, though. With ATL’s big piece down, find odds for the Atlanta Hawks against the Charlotte Bobcats game tonight, as well as lines for your NFL teams at SportsBettingOnline.ag
Expect the team to bite the bullet on this one. Mike Scott, Gustavo Ayon, Elton Brand and Pero Antic are the Big Men waiting in the wings in ATL. We recommend waiting to see how this whole things going to role out. In short term, expect Teague and Millsap to see even more increased roles.
Just when the Wizards got going, Bradley Beal injured his ankle again. He came down awkwardly on a teammate’s ankle. In the meantime, I would expect another strong showing from Martell Webster. Ever since Beal came back, his stats have gone down. Fantasy owners should look into adding Webster.
Reggie Jackson – Russell Westbrook underwent knee surgery on his right knee and is out until after the All-Star break. Reggie Jackson will be the starting point guard going forward; Jeremy Lamb is also in the mix and should see an increase in playing time. On Friday, Jackson played 30 minutes shooting 4-19. Expect better nights out of Jackson. In 12 career starts, Jackson has averaged 14 points, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds. Jackson is a must add in fantasy formats.
Larry Sanders – Sanders returned to action on Friday playing 22 minutes and finishing with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks before fouling out. He’s going to have to play his way out of the doghouse or he could be showcased for a trade. The Bucks are featuring their younger players more this season, which is even worse for Sanders. #TankForJabari!
Tyreke Evans – Evans has been playing fantastic over the past 7 days. He has averages of 21.3 points, 9.3 assists, and 6.3 rebounds. At this point, he is a sell high candidate. I don’t trust his achy ankles and he can return a good package of players.
Chris Kaman – With Pau Gasol out last night due to illness, Chris Kaman was a decent add in fantasy formats. Before exiting the game last night due to a turned ankle, Kaman finished the night with a Double-Double scoring 19 points on 10 rebounds with 3 blocks and 1 steal. With Gasol set to return soon Kaman has no fantasy relevance, but keep him in the back of your mind if Gasol ever misses time.
James Harden – Harden scored 27 points going 22-25 from the Free Throw Line on Thursday against the Grizzlies. A rare but efficient night for Harden.
