Shelby Miller – Has been pretty dominant this Spring and pretty much has the 5th spot locked up.
Kyle Lohse – Just signed on with the Brew Crew. If he’s still available in your league, I’d go pick him up now. I’m not exactly crazy about him, but I would use him as a 5th or 6th starter.
Toronto Blue Jays – Casey Janssen is cleared for Opening Day. Brett Lawrie will open the season on the DL. Emilio Bonifacio will open the season starting somewhere. Bonifacio is good for 50 stolen bases if he plays 150 games (highly unlikely though).
Erasmo Ramirez – Looking like he’s not going to win the 5th spot in Seattle. Instead, they’re talking about putting him in the bullpen. This pretty much kills the 22 year olds fantasy relevance and sleeper potential.
Erik Bedard – “Gets the nod” for the Astro’s 5th spot. I give him the “head shake” on my roster.
Yasiel Puig – Probably not going to get enough AB’s in the majors for fantasy relevance. His only chance of playing is either Kemp, Crawford, or Ethier injury. Meanwhile, they starting Luis Cruz at third. However, I would hang onto Puig for the time being.
