Danny Amendola’s Dad Sues The Dallas Cowboys

It’s a good think Dallas opted not to sign free agent wide receiver Danny Amendola this off-season because things may have got pretty awkward. Willie Amendola, the father to the now New England Patriots wide out Danny Amendola, is sueing the Dallas Cowboys. Willie Amendola is a high school football coach for a division 5A school in Texas.

After winning the State Championship game in Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Willie Amendola decided to take interviews at the 50 yard mark. This was, however, until a runaway golf cart went off and literally bowled over Amendola and reporters like bowling pins. The golf cart took off from the opposite endzone and made a beeline towards Amendola and reporters.

Apparently, stadium workers put touchdown pylons on the golf cart and one stuck to a pedal. Willie Amendola is now sueing the Dallas Cowboys for $1 Million in part for “great personal anguish and embarassment” arising from the media’s attention. Watch the video below and see the golf carts perfect strike.
