Josh Hamilton – Down goes Hamilton! He will miss 6-8 Weeks with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his thumb, which he injured while sliding into first base. JB Shuck has been called to move into Hamilton’s vacated position. Shuck hit .293 for the Angels last season in 437 ABs and is currently hitting .375 in AAA this season thru 5 Games.
Aramis Ramirez – Doing his best to stay under the radar, Ramirez is slugging an impressive .412 AVG w 7 RBIs in this young season. Ramirez hasn’t added any long-balls as of yet and consider it a rarity for him to have more SBs than HRs as it currently sits. Last night, Ramirez added a 3 for 5 night, 1 RBI and 1 SB to the stat-sheet.
Jordan Zimmerman – A week after slicing up the ATL Braves for 9 Ks and 1 ER, Zimmerman was pulverized for 5 ERs and 7 Hits in only 1.2 IP. Zimmerman racked up 57 Pitches thrown against the Miami Marlins! Say what …. !?!?!
Wil Myers – After a slow start to the season (.194 AVG), Myers was bumped to 7th in the TB Batting Lineup on Wednesday Night. He yielded a 2 for 4 performance vs. KC and should be seen as a “Buy-Low” candidate from nervous owners in this young season.
Charlie Blackmon – HEY YOU GUYS!!!! Charlie Blackmon is on fire! Blackmon filled the stat-sheet with another 3 for 5 performance as he now sits at .471 AVG on the season with 16 Hits, 8 RBIs and 7 Runs Scored with only 1 K. If you exist in a league where he is available, don’t walk … run to the wire and add him!

Billy Hamilton – Has hit safely in his past 3 Games, going 5 for 14 with only 1 K in that small sample size we will call a stretch. Last night, Hamilton went 3 for 4 with 2 SBs.
Masahiro Tanaka – As good as advertised – Tanaka followed up a strong opening outing with a 10 K performance thru 7 IP vs. a gritty Baltimore team. As Al Pacino would say … “Whoooo – Aahhhh”

Taijuan Walker – The Mariners Top Prospect fanned 10 Batters over 5 Shutout Innings in last nights AA re-hab start. If he’s available, add him. The injury of James Paxton may have jump-started his arrival. ADD, ADD, ADD!
George Springer – To see this stat stuffing monster prospect owned in less than 25% of leagues blows me away! He will NOT be a September call up. The Astros are simply playing the “service time” game with this dual threat outfielder. He will be up much sooner than the 75% of league owners that don’t have him think. Just about every Astros insider has said Springer is expected to be up not long after the season started. I expect June 1 at the latest and you do NOT want to miss out on 4 months of this guy. He was a 40/40 guy across the minors last season. He obviously pressed in the Spring but he will certainly be a stat stuffer upon the call up. Get him. For him to be owned in less than 25% of leagues is a travesty. Get him. NOW.
Jason Vargas – Jason Vargas SP, Royals- His name is no stranger to even the most conservative fantasy manager. His walks have always been his downfall but a fresh start in an organization widely praised for developing solid pitching, things may be coming together for this MLB veteran entering his prime years. The hopes of high win total may need to be quieted because the offensive isn’t explosive but his peripherals should be solid. He is off to a great start and confidence can only help a veteran. With the Twins next up for him, look for another solid start.
A’s Relief Pitchers – Jim Johnson has blown yet another save and has pitched 3.1 innings this season while giving up 9 hits on 7 earned runs. Flamethrower Ryan Cook will likely be eased into the setup role, but could eventually take over the closer role. For now, it looks like Doolittle, Cook and Gregersen will fill Johnson’s spot, in that order.
Mike Minor – Pitched for 2 1/3 innings in AAA allowing 1 ER, 1 Hit, 3 BBs and 4 Ks.
Javier Baez – Rumored he’s getting in fights with his teammates. The Cubs Top Prospect is still set to hit the Bigs real soon.
Addison Russell – A’s Top Prospect suffered a torn hamstring and will miss at least a month.
