Many people leave comments on athletes’ social media pages in hopes for some sort of response. The fans anxiously await for minutes, hours, and even days to no avail. Athletes are, also, victims to this as well. Male athletes mostly tweet or “Like” pictures on Instagram to initiate conversations with women. From there, numbers are exchanged and well, you might guess what happens next.
Recently, Cleveland Browns rookie Terrance West was scrolling through his Instagram feed and came across a Deadspin reader’s wife. He immediately started following her and liked numerous photos on her page.
As you can see, he left his number for her to text him. Now keep in mind, this woman is married and has a few kids. Her husband learned of West’s “attempt” and decided to have a little fun with it. Instead of calling him out on social media, he gave West’s number to his guy friends. From there, they sent him pictures of their…you know what’s. They gladly helped out their friend. West instantly made his Instagram private and deleted his comment. The husband also reached out to the rookie’s girlfriend to let her know of the situation and she broke up with the running back. Too bad she already got a tattoo of his name on a personal part of her body. Yikes!
Let this be a warning to all athletes. Before you start spitting your “game,” make sure they are single. Heck, double check that you’re single as well. Check yourself before you wreck yourself!
