Vegas Odds on LeBron James Landing Spot

With the recent news of the Cleveland Cavaliers landing Free Agent Superstar – LeBron James, NBA Odds have been trending all over social media.

According to David Purdum of ESPN – More bets have been placed on the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the 2015 NBA Championship than any other team in the NBA. Legion Report recently spoke to Top Tier individuals at MGM in Las Vegas, Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and the Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland regarding betting odds. The Cleveland Cavaliers are at 10/2 Odds at MGM and 18/1 at Caesars Palace to win the NBA Championship. Odds-makers have expressed that there has been a lot of money spent on the Cleveland Cavs within the past 2 weeks, whereas they were 75/1 Odds in June.

The Caesars Palace source included that they have seen mostly sharp action A.K.A. “Wise Guys,” so something has been brewing for weeks with the smart money. Wise Guys have inside information, a big bank roll and may be tied to big organizations. Squares are individuals like me, you and 80% of the population that bet and try to win. The Caesars Palace source included that based on the “Wise Guy” activity, a lot of chatter indicates a ratio of 60/40 on a LeBron James return. The favorite to win the 2015 NBA Championship is still the Miami Heat at 5/2 odds, however we expect this to change drastically in the near future.

Preliminary betting odds via CarbonSports.ag and Covers.com have placed the Cleveland Cavs at 6/1 Odds for the 2015 NBA Championship if landing James, hence which is why casinos are currently hedging the odds. Below are listed “contenders” in the LeBron James Sweepstakes and the odds if they somehow ended up signing LeBron.

Chicago Bulls – 3/1
Los Angeles Lakers – 10/1
Houston Rockets – 8/1
Phoenix Suns – 10/1
