Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule 2026: Full Slate, Dates, Times and TV

The Steelers open a new era in 2026 with Mike McCarthy on the sideline, the first man other than Mike Tomlin to coach Pittsburgh since 2006. The headline date is Week 7 in Paris, where the Steelers face New Orleans at the Stade de France in the NFL’s first regular-season game in the country.

Pittsburgh also draws a Black Friday home game against Denver and closes the year at Baltimore. Eight home dates, nine road games, bye in Week 9.

Games That Will Define the Steelers’ Season

Wk 7 at Saints The first NFL regular-season game played in France, at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, with New Orleans as the designated home team. It comes a year after Pittsburgh played in the first NFL game in Ireland.
Wk 12 vs Broncos Black Friday at Acrisure Stadium, a 3:00 p.m. kickoff on Prime Video. Pittsburgh has won the last three meetings with Denver.
Wk 13 vs Texans A Sunday night rematch of the wild-card game Houston won 30-6 in January, and the night Mike Tomlin returns to Pittsburgh in an NBC broadcast role.
Wk 15 & 18 vs Ravens Baltimore at Acrisure in Week 15, then the season finale in Baltimore. The AFC North could easily come down to that Week 18 trip.
Only the Fourth Coach in 58 Years
Mike McCarthy follows Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin. He previously coached the Packers from 2006 to 2018 and the Cowboys from 2020 to 2024.
Two Straight International Firsts
Pittsburgh played the NFL’s first game in Ireland in 2025 and now gets its first game in France. The Stade de France seats more than 81,000, the largest stadium in the country.
Six AFC North Games
Cleveland twice in five weeks early, Cincinnati in Weeks 3 and 10, and Baltimore in Weeks 15 and 18. The division bookends the calendar.

How the Schedule Sets Up

Pittsburgh gets a rare home opener, then a manageable September before the schedule turns strange: a Thursday night in Cleveland, a Sunday in Tampa, and then the flight to Paris. The bye lands well in Week 9, immediately after the Browns rematch and before a Sunday night in Cincinnati.

The back half is where the season gets decided. Philadelphia on the road, Black Friday at home, Houston on Sunday night, a Monday night in Jacksonville, then the two Ravens games. For the other side of those, see our Baltimore Ravens schedule page. Full league schedules and flexible-scheduling rules are published by the NFL.

The Bottom Line

A new head coach after 19 years of continuity, a trip to Paris in Week 7, a Black Friday home game, and a Week 18 finale in Baltimore. The Steelers won the AFC North at 10-7 last season and the schedule gives them every chance to defend it, or to lose it in the last four weeks.
