Two Programs on the Move
Kennesaw State is one of the newest FBS programmes in the country, having climbed from starting football in 2015 to FCS success to a full move up. Conference USA is its home now.
West Georgia has been making its own transition, moving up to the FCS ranks after a long run in Division II. Both are programmes still establishing themselves at levels they only recently reached.
A 50-Mile Trip
Carrollton to Kennesaw is under an hour’s drive. The two schools recruit the same Atlanta-area high schools, which for programmes this new is how a rivalry starts.
