What to Watch
Two good defenses and one clear quarterback advantage. Pitt leads the ACC against the run and Syracuse sits 12th nationally in total defense, so points should be at a premium in a game where neither offense has faced much resistance yet.
Syracuse has one proven way to bother Pitt. The Orange sacked Heintschel seven times in last October’s meeting and held him without a touchdown pass, then lost anyway because Steve Angeli’s predecessors threw three interceptions.
