How the Power Play Goals Race Works
Goals scored with the man advantage. Players who own the left circle or the net front on the top unit lead this list year after year.
| Power play goal | Any goal scored while the opponent is shorthanded |
| Elite | 20 or more in a season |
| Very good | 12 to 19 |
| Top unit regular | 8 to 11 |
The board updates automatically through the season and switches to the playoff race in April. Early in the season the list moves a lot from night to night.
