Alabama is favored by nearly three touchdowns at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the return leg of the home and home. The Crimson Tide are 2-0 and up to No. 10 after routing Kentucky on the road. Florida State lost 27-24 to SMU on Labor Day and dropped out of the rankings. A year ago the Seminoles were 13.5 point underdogs at home and beat Alabama 31-17, so this line is a bet that last season’s opener was the outlier.

Alabama leads 3-2-1 on the field, or 3-1-1 in the official record because Florida State vacated the 2007 win. Saturday is the fourth meeting in Alabama and the first in Tuscaloosa since 1974. Last year’s game was the first ever in Tallahassee.
What to Watch
- Alabama’s offense has scored 93 points in two games; Florida State gave up 27 to SMU and has not seen a defense like this one.
- The total of 48.5 is among the lowest on the Week 3 board for a game with a ranked team, which reflects Florida State’s pace and Alabama’s defense more than any expectation of a blowout shootout.
