College football is spread across more networks and apps than any other sport, and opening weekend is when most people discover the game they want is on a channel they do not have. This guide works backward from the network: find the game’s channel on our TV schedule, then use the table below to see which services carry it.

Pick a Service by What You Watch
You follow one SEC or ACC team. The ESPN app’s full plan is the cleanest single subscription: it carries ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPN+ exclusives and most ABC simulcasts. What it does not include is SEC Network+, which still requires a login from a provider that carries SEC Network.
You follow a Big Ten team. FOX, FS1 and Big Ten Network carry most of the conference, and FOX One covers all three. Add Peacock for NBC games and the occasional Peacock exclusive (Minnesota’s Thursday opener was one), and CBS through Paramount+ for the Big Ten games CBS carries.
You want everything. Fubo, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV each carry ABC, ESPN, FOX, FS1, CBS, NBC, BTN, SEC Network, ACC Network and CBS Sports Network. The gaps: Fubo does not carry TNT or truTV, and none of the bundles include ESPN+ exclusives, SEC Network+ or MW+. Most people who want everything end up with one bundle plus ESPN+.
You want free. An antenna gets ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and The CW in most markets, which this week means Alabama, Baylor vs. Auburn and Clemson at LSU on ABC, Boise State at Oregon on CBS, Indiana and Cincinnati on FOX, Michigan on NBC, and every CW game. Most streaming bundles also offer a free trial long enough to cover a weekend.
