NFL RedZone is not a single channel number. It is a nationally distributed channel that each provider places differently, and it only runs during the Sunday afternoon windows.
When It Is On
RedZone starts at 1 p.m. ET and runs through the end of the late afternoon window, roughly seven hours. It does not carry Sunday Night Football, Monday night, Thursday night or any standalone game. Once the 4:25 games finish, so does RedZone.

What It Actually Shows
Scott Hanson hosts, jumping between games as teams approach scoring position. There are no commercials during the window, which is the main appeal. It also runs the octobox when enough games are live at once.
What it does not do is show a full game. If you want to watch one team from start to finish, RedZone is the wrong product.

Eight games kick at 1 p.m. ET and four more at 4:25. That is the full RedZone period. Cowboys at Giants on NBC at 8:20 is outside it.
