Colorado’s 2026 season starts with something the program hasn’t done in more than half a century: three road games in the opening month. Deion Sanders’ fourth Buffaloes team opens at Georgia Tech, hosts Weber State, then travels to Northwestern and Baylor before Folsom Field sees a Big 12 game.

Games That Will Decide Colorado’s Season

Sept 5 at Georgia Tech A revenge trip. Georgia Tech won 27-20 in Boulder last August, and the Buffs open the season in Atlanta looking to return the favor.
Sept 26 at Baylor Colorado’s first trip to Waco since 2007. The last meeting was a 38-31 overtime thriller in Boulder in 2024; CU leads the all-time series 10-7.
