The Trip
Miami crosses three time zones for a 9 p.m. Eastern kickoff, which means the players’ body clocks are reading midnight by the fourth quarter. Friday night road games on the West Coast are among the hardest assignments in the sport for an East Coast team.
The compensation is exposure. With only a handful of games on Friday, Miami gets a national audience to itself.
