The Fever have four regular season games left. The WNBA paused for the FIBA World Cup and returns on September 17, with the regular season ending September 24 and the playoffs after that.

Where Indiana Stands
The Fever were 26-14 when the league broke for the World Cup, in the playoff field with the top seed already gone to Minnesota. The two games against the Lynx to close the season are the interesting part of the run in, since Indiana may well see them again in October.
How the Season Has Gone
This has been the Fever’s best stretch of the Caitlin Clark era. They rattled off four consecutive 100 point games in August, an all-time WNBA record, and Clark is averaging a career high 22.5 points with 8.4 assists.
Recent form before the break was strong: a 113-90 win at Chicago, a 111-91 win over Connecticut, and a 106-92 win over New York. The losses have come mostly against the top of the league.
Who Is on the Roster
Clark and Kelsey Mitchell run the backcourt, with Aliyah Boston inside. Boston left an August game against Seattle with a lower leg injury, which is the situation to watch when the league returns.
What Happens After September 24
The regular season ends that night and the playoffs follow, opening with four first round series. Seeding for Indiana is still live across these final four games.
