How Both Teams Got Here
Tampa Bay lost 33-27 at Cincinnati, a one score road loss in a game where the offense moved the ball. Cleveland lost 34-10 at Jacksonville, which was over well before the fourth quarter.
Ten points on the road in a division the Browns are supposed to compete in is the kind of opener that sets a tone, and Cleveland now travels again rather than getting a home reset.
What to Watch
Cleveland has to show the Jacksonville game was an outlier. Scoring ten points against a team that finished under .500 last season does not leave much margin for interpretation, and Tampa Bay put up 27 on the road.
For the Buccaneers this is the get right spot. They played well enough to win in Cincinnati and are now home against the team with the worst Week 1 result of the two.
