How Both Teams Got Here
Baltimore won 41-23 at Indianapolis, the largest road margin of the opening weekend. New Orleans lost 31-30 in overtime at Detroit, which is about as close as a loss gets.
The Saints played well enough to win and did not, which is a very different starting point from a team that was simply beaten. Baltimore, meanwhile, is now home after a statement result.
What to Watch
Whether New Orleans can back up the Detroit performance. Taking a good team to overtime on the road is genuinely encouraging, but the schedule does not ease up: Baltimore at home is a harder assignment than Detroit was.
For Baltimore the question is the one every team has after a blowout. Indianapolis gave up 41 and then gets Kansas City next, so the Colts may simply be the problem rather than the Ravens being that good.
