College Basketball Teams by Conference 2026-27: All 32 Conferences and Every Team

There are 32 Division I men’s basketball conferences and 365 conference members for the 2026 to 27 season. Realignment moved 27 programs on July 1, 2026, led by the rebuilt Pac-12, which returns as a nine team league with Gonzaga and five former Mountain West schools. The WAC became the United Athletic Conference, the MAAC renamed itself the Metro Conference, and the five major conferences, the ACC, Big Ten, SEC, Big 12 and Big East, did not change. Every conference and every team is listed below, starting with the major conferences.
