Florida has 34 consensus All-Americans and more than 80 first team selections. The list runs from Dale Van Sickel in 1928 through the Spurrier and Meyer eras that produced most of it, to Kyle Pitts in 2020 and Jake Slaughter in 2024.
Florida has had a player drafted every year since 1967, the longest streak in the SEC, and the 2026 class made history with a pick in every round, led by Caleb Banks at 18th. The Meyer era classes, the 2010 draft that produced nine picks, and the lean years since.
Every Florida bowl game with scores, from a 1912 game in Havana through the 2024 Gasparilla Bowl. Three championship games won, the 1995 Fiesta Bowl lost by 38, and a program that did not play in the postseason until its 47th season.
Florida is 771 wins, 454 losses and 40 ties all time with a .625 percentage, a modest number for a program with three national titles. The eighty years before Spurrier, the twenty one years of dominance, the fifteen since, and the 2025 collapse.
The Swamp holds 88,548, the largest stadium in Florida, and has topped 90,000 for its record crowd. From Florida Field in 1930 through seven expansions, Steve Spurrier’s nickname, the field that now carries his name, and the $1.45 billion rebuild that starts in 2027.
Georgia leads the series 57 to 44 with two ties by Florida’s count, or 58 to 44 by Georgia’s, and has won five in a row. The rivalry from the Florida side: the 1904 game the schools disagree about, Spurrier’s 11 and 1, Meyer’s 5 and 1, and the 2026 game in Atlanta.
Florida has eight SEC championships, six under Spurrier and two under Meyer, and a ninth from 1984 that the conference took away. Every title by year, the 7 and 6 record in Atlanta, fifteen SEC East crowns, and the eighteen years since the last one.
Florida has three national championships and all of them came between 1996 and 2008: Spurrier’s Sugar Bowl rout of Florida State and Meyer’s two BCS titles over Ohio State and Oklahoma. The title seasons, the 1995 team that got there first, and the seventeen years since.
Florida has three Heisman winners, all quarterbacks, and they are connected: Steve Spurrier won in 1966 and coached Danny Wuerffel to the 1996 trophy, and Tim Tebow in 2007 became the first sophomore to win. Every winner, the runners up, and the thirty year gaps.
