The 2026 postseason field is still being decided. Series and games appear here automatically as matchups are set.
How the 2026 Postseason Works
Twelve teams make the field, six from each league. The top two seeds in each league skip the Wild Card Series, where the No. 3 seed plays the No. 6 and the No. 4 plays the No. 5 in a best of three, with the higher seed hosting every game. Winners move on to the best of five Division Series, then the best of seven League Championship Series and World Series.
The Wild Card Series starts Tuesday, Sept. 29, the Division Series on Saturday, Oct. 3, the NLCS on Sunday, Oct. 11 and the ALCS on Monday, Oct. 12. The World Series begins Friday, Oct. 23, with a possible Game 7 on Saturday, Oct. 31.
