How Oregon Spends
Oregon’s profile is the most balanced of the big spenders: one star at $5 million and then four more players between $1.5 million and $2 million, which is a lot of NIL 100 depth for one roster. An SEC front office staffer told CBS Sports that Oregon, Miami, USC, Texas and Texas A&M are the five programs in their own category, the places a player goes if he simply wants the most money.
Moore’s decision is the defining one. He told On3 the choice to return was about playing another season with his teammates, and it also made him one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the country. The Ducks went 13 and 2 with him last season.
