Priority adds before Week 1, ranked by how likely they are to matter. FAAB percentages assume a $100 budget. This page updates every Tuesday once the week’s injuries and breakouts are known.
Tier 1: Add now, before anyone gets hurt
Handcuffs attached to high scoring offenses. These are the adds that become weekly starters on one injury, and the cost goes up tenfold the moment that injury happens.

FAAB rules of thumb
| Situation | Spend |
| Clear starting RB after a season ending injury | 40 to 60% |
| Ambiguous backfield after an injury | 15 to 25% |
| Handcuff before the injury happens | 5 to 12% |
| One week streaming defense or kicker | 0 to 2% |
| Week 1 overreaction to one big game | Under 5% |
The one Week 1 mistake to avoid
Do not spend half your budget on a player who had one big game in Week 1. The single most expensive habit in fantasy is paying 40 percent of a season’s FAAB for a receiver who caught two touchdowns once. Wait for a second week of usage before paying up, unless the trigger was an injury that guarantees the role.
