Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 4: Braelon Allen, Kenyon Sadiq, Roman Wilson and Deep League Flex Plays

Sleepers are the players rostered in fewer than half of leagues who can win you Week 4, not the stars you already start. With Achane, Hall, Etienne and Mayfield all down and no byes yet, the list is shorter than it will be in October, but each name below has a specific reason: a role that changed this week or a matchup that opened up. Rostered percentages are Yahoo.

Week 4 Sleepers

Player Matchup Rostered Why this week
Braelon Allen, RB, Jets at Bears About 18% Breece Hall is week to week with a quad injury. Allen is the next man up with Isaiah Davis mixing in, and Chicago follows with Cleveland in Week 5
Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Jets at Bears About 17% Seven catches for 105 yards and a touchdown against Detroit with the Jets’ receivers banged up. A TE1 streamer until the target share proves otherwise
Roman Wilson, WR, Steelers at Browns (Thursday) Low Exactly six targets in each of the first three games, first touchdown last week. Steady volume makes him a flex in a game with a 38.5 total
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Commanders vs. Colts (London) Moderate Only 7.9 points per game, but the Colts’ front is one of the slate’s softer run matchups and the early window keeps him under the radar
Ollie Gordon II, RB, Dolphins at Vikings Rising fast The Week 4 waiver prize. Seventeen carries and a touchdown the day Achane went down; the matchup is hard but the volume is bankable
Noah Fant, TE, Saints vs. Falcons (Monday night) Low Two touchdowns and 19.3 points last week. Touchdown dependent, which is fine for a tight end streamer
AJ Barner, TE, Seahawks vs. Chargers Low 11.9 points in Week 3 and a rising red zone role in a Seattle offense that keeps scoring
Cade Otton, TE, Buccaneers vs. Packers Low 8.6 points last week, but Mayfield’s thumb injury caps the ceiling. Deep league only

Deep League Stashes

Player Situation
Terrance Ferguson, TE, Rams Was a Week 2 star with Nacua out, then sprained his ankle Sunday. Likely out Week 4 per Sean McVay; stash if you have the bench spot
Isaiah Davis, RB, Jets The other half of the Hall replacement. Handcuff value only unless Allen falters
Austin Ekeler, RB, Commanders Washington was expected to sign him this week. Pass catching role only, no immediate start
Jaylen Wright, RB, Dolphins Inactive Week 3, but the only other back behind Gordon in Miami. Best handcuff available on most wires
