The Short Version
Stockton sat for three years, then started every game in 2025 for a Georgia team that went 11 and 1 in the regular season against one of the hardest schedules in the country. His signature day was at Tennessee: 23 of 31 for a career high 304 yards, a fourth and 6 conversion and the game tying two point conversion to force overtime, which brought him SEC Offensive Player of the Week and a stack of national weekly awards. He was MVP of the SEC Championship Game with three touchdown passes against Alabama, and threw four more on 26 of 31 against Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl, which Georgia lost.
