The Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves meet in a best of three National League Wild Card Series at Truist Park, starting Tuesday, September 29, at 2 p.m. ET, with every game on NBC, NBCSN or Peacock. The Braves won the NL East and are the No. 3 seed with home field. The Phillies clinched the last wild card on the final day of the regular season, beating Tampa Bay 7 to 3 to finish 88 and 74 and eliminate Arizona, after losing four straight games that had erased a four game lead with five to play. The winner plays the No. 2 Los Angeles Dodgers in the Division Series, which begins the weekend of October 3.

How the Series Works
The Wild Card Series is best of three, and the higher seed hosts every game, so the whole series is played at Truist Park. The first team to win two games advances.
How They Got Here
Atlanta had already clinched the NL East. Philadelphia entered the final day one game ahead of Arizona for the last wild card and held on.
Postseason History
This is the fourth postseason meeting between the division rivals. The Phillies won the 1993 NLCS 4 games to 2 and beat the Braves 3 games to 1 in the Division Series in both 2022 and 2023.
