Every NFL team must cut from 90 players to 53 by 6 PM ET on Sunday, August 30, 2026 — roughly 1,180 releases in a single day — and this page tracks all of them, team by team. Cuts begin trickling out in the days before the deadline and flood in Sunday afternoon; we’ll update each team’s list below as moves become official, through the deadline and the waiver-claim fallout Monday.

A quick key for reading the wire: players with fewer than four accrued seasons are waived (they hit the waiver wire, claimable by all 31 other teams Monday at 1 PM ET); vested veterans with four-plus seasons are released (immediate free agents). Injured players can’t simply be cut — look for injured reserve moves and injury settlements mixed into every team’s list.

Rosters are still NOT final: waiver claims are due at 1 PM ET today, awards process immediately after in draft order (the Raiders pick first), and every club that wins a claim must release someone to make room. How to Read Cut Weekend

The names that matter most are rarely the famous ones. Watch for: veterans released a day early (a courtesy so they can shop teams before the flood), surprise cuts at deep positions (a team with six good receivers must expose one), and drafted rookies from a year ago being waived (an admission the pick missed). The claim wire Monday tells you which teams’ scouting departments were paying attention — and every player who clears waivers becomes practice-squad eligible, which is where about a third of these names resurface by Wednesday.
