Florida State’s season has been stranger. The Seminoles beat New Mexico State 34-17 in Week 0, then lost 27-24 to SMU on a Monday night in Week 1, a result that cost them a ranking they had held. They enter Tuscaloosa needing this game far more than Alabama does.
What to Watch
The pass rush is the pressure point. Florida State’s offensive line gave up too much against SMU and Alabama’s front is a step up from anything the Seminoles have seen. If Florida State cannot keep its quarterback clean on early downs, the game turns into the kind of afternoon Bryant-Denny is built for.
